I'm Femke, but you can call me Foems. I was born in "2000 zero zero, party's over, oops, out of time"... or in other words: 1999! 🎶 I live in a cozy, countryside village in Belgium, sharing my home with my absolute favorite 'toetie' and two insanely cute cats, Remi & Cleo 🐾.

Here is a quick glimpse into my literary journey:

📖 The Plot Twist: I actually hated reading all through elementary school. That changed around age 11, curled up by a hotel fireplace in Ostend with a book called A Web of Lies. It was the first book I ever finished!

🧛‍♀️ The Awakening: My true obsession began during the golden era of vampires-yes, I was fully consumed by Twilight and The Vampire Diaries.

☕ The Evolution: My taste eventually grew a bit more sophisticated (though no less classic) with timeless masterpieces like Pride and Prejudice.

A little fun fact about me... 🎧
When I read, I don't just turn pages-I completely vanish into the story. Just like a movie, every book needs its own soundtrack. I'll often put a single song on loop for an entire chapter... and I do the exact same thing when I'm writing my own stories!
