2. ANGSTY TIMELOOP AU!
Hear me out on this AU. So—
There's an item that allows u to create a timeloop in the Tower. It can only be used once, looping the same 24 hour and it won't stop until the user wishes it to stop. Khun stole this from Eduan's treasury and never figured out what it was until much later. But when he does, he always keeps it safe in his Lighthouse and treats it like the irreplaceable treasure that it is.
Eve dies protecting everyone from a giant scale ambush. Most of them were already injured and she saw no chances of them winning. So she teleported them away to safety with a last relieved smile, intending to do a suicidal move to stop the enemies. And they came back far too late only to see her dead cold body and the destroyed battlefield.
Khun used the timeloop without a second thought off, amidst all his terror as he holds Eve close and desperately activating the timeloop as fast as he can. He tries every strategy that he can in all the loops, calls on every single connection that he has, even tries to keep Eve completely away from it to avoid this. But none of it works.
This timeloop is the only way he knows how to keep her safe. Trapping her here, in the last day she's alive, ignorant of what's to come as the sun sets. He dreads every last minute, another countdown to the end as he rushes as humanely possible back to her side, but he lives in relief as all the blood washes away, all the would-be scars fade away, and the tears dry before they have a chance to completely fall down. But the memory of her dying in his arms doesn't fade, and he keeps her in the timeloop, unwilling to let go. There must be something he can do, something he hasn't done yet to fix this.
