Daily Poem :)
Lights
They show us the way,
They allow us to see,
But at the same time blind us.
Sound
It helps us talk
It allows us to hear,
But at the same time turn us deaf.
Blood,
It keeps us alive,
It tells us we are living,
But is that a good thing?
Is any of this a good thing?
That's up to you.
Humans can choose what's right and what's wrong because it is morals that we find just unjust,
And we have the mental capacity and intelligence to comprehend that morality.
What's right and what's wrong
Is not relevant to the world.
What's alive and what's dead, however, is.
Though, maybe that is the right and the wrong of the world.
Life and Death.
But which one is right and wrong?
There is no simple yes or no answer to such a thing.
To the world, it's very dependent on a plethora of factors,
To which one is right and wrong.
To the world, only what's alive and what's dead matters.
We can't choose to be born, we can’t choose to be inserted into this world.
But we can choose to die.
Is that a coincidence? - John Leon Jackson
