Seriously, it takes much strength to give up on the votes and all the self gratification you would be receiving otherwise.. All this for Allah's sake is beautiful :) I really wish you start writing, something beneficial as you liked it to be..

            Ma sha Allah, you nailed it here! This is 100% exactly what I was saying in my 'Unpublishing Notice' - the votes, the praises etc.. all these can be quite the fuel for us to write, but what's in it for Allah (SWT)?
