What happen to Rise of the TMNT? :
Rise of TMNT is 2018 animated series produced by Nickelodeon. It air it first episode September 17, 2018 and its last episode August 7, 2020. Last Rise of TMNT content fans got was the 2022 movie produced by Netflix and Nickelodeon. Now what happen to this short lived TMNT series? Well, it was made to be to a more light hearted TMNT series versus the serious and darker tone of the 2012 TMNT series. When Nickelodeon announced the series in spring of 2017 with the turtles new looks, TMNT fans were not thrilled.
'The designs are too different "or 'the characters look weird' where some of the reaction by the fans. Due to this reaction the series was look down upon by the fandom. The popularity of the show went down drastically and Nickelodeon had to cancel due to fans reaction and poor toy sells. Despite it not hitting it 7 season mark that it was originally going to have.
Lucky Netflix pick the show up for a hour and 22 min movie in
2022. Support for the show has grow over the years and the community for TMNT yearn for a season 3 of ROTTMNT.
