Inner self

My inner self can talk to boys
Parties all night to real loud noise
She can jock it up and play it cool
She walks around town like she was born to rule
My outer self is not so much
She declines invites to parties and such
She stays in the shadows and talks politely
Venting her feelings to her journal nightly
She reads and she writes about true love
Dreaming that's what her life will be full of
Loves like Romeo and Juliet
Although she's not ready to die for love yet
Sometimes inner self seeks a peek out
Thinking of things she would like to shout
But if her thoughts get to reality
They are in whisper so she's hard to see
Whenever inner self has something to say
Outer self always seems to get in the way
Someday inner will escape her prison walls
But for now outer self makes all the calls

I am the TOTAL book worm type; have book character crushes, hate some characters with a deep passion, stay up all night reading, the whole shebang! I am a Freshmen girl.
