Looking back at some of the older posts made for this story it looks like the author started this story in 2014.  The last update was late in 2016, over 4 years ago.  It is soooo disappointing to see someone who had a good thing going to abandon a story with only a few chapters to go.  But apparently its common.

If any of you come to read this, I texted the author about Bloody Mate and I’m waiting for her to give me a response. We got to keep our fingers cross y’all. Hopefully she texts me back and if she says yes then we got ourselves a new chapter heading our way.

the last time I’ve talked to the author, they said that they were still in writing mode, but I’m not sure.
