More than writing, I like creating stories and characters. 

I live in Florida and enjoy my day job, but more than anything I like to think up bizarre stories with even more bizarre characters. I have self-published a few stories before but want to try out Wattpad as a way of both finding new stories and sharing stories in a way that is new to me. 

I like taking the crazy news stories that come out of Florida and adding a story around them. "What happened right before that?" "How does he explain that to his mom?" I enjoy satire in all its forms. My favorite authors at the moment are Carl Hiaasen, David Sedaris, and Chuck Palahniuk.  

I am going to try my hand a writing a serial. But truly a serial, with little pre-planning and plotting and see where the story goes, this would be, Little Beach Town. I am very welcome to feedback on the writing as well as discussion about what may happen next. I'll try to only think out one week in advance to keep it exciting for myself, but also keep the writing interesting and tied tightly together. I may experiment with different techniques or writing advice find so if something seems to work, or doesn't, please point it out. 

I also want to post some of my other writing, both previously published and non-published work. I want a place where people can comment and I can take criticism and improve my own skills. 

I may put my stuff all over the web, not sure yet. Only now getting active on social media after 5 years of this-and-that writing projects, so accounts, websites, and what-have-yous may not be populated yet.
