Thanks for the follow! I hope you decide to get into writing! My advice is to find a plot to write, is when you're reading your stories, you see a plot or twist that is cool but the writer doesn't develop it to your liked, or the story you liked was discontinued. Try writing your own version of that plot.
Example 1: You liked the idea that Harry and Draco are auror partners, and in a story you read b4 they take forever to get together. Well, you pick a time to start your story, auror training graduation, the battle, whatever, and that they are forced together in some inconvenient way and made to get along. You can develop your story and comedy from there as they struggle not to kill each other or that one or the other keeps flirting with the other.
Example 2: a story ends without being finished. Finish it. It's a good exercise in seeing an ending to a story and it completes it in your head. Yes it is taking someone's story idea. I didn't say get money or famous off it. But fanfiction is literally getting the idea of someone else’s story, just your own spin. Heck, even Harru Potter has some classic stories plots in hers. Camelot? Game of thrones is based off the war of the roses to a limited extent. So... either finish a stopped story or restart it with the plot line in it and add your own twist.
Well I know you read Blind. If you wanted it to go further... write a story short or long about things I glossed over in the epilogue.
Good luck, though. Writers read first, then write p
