"We need to do something about the invisible cunt" Billy grumbled as he watched Translucent through the small, foggy widow of the room the supe was currently being held in. He and Frenchie had been talking and trying to come up with ideas on how to pierce the invisible being's carbon skin. The leader of the group was itching to see a grime fate latch onto one of The Seven

"Hm.." The broad shouldered man hummed in thought, the gears of his mind turning and rolling. He then glanced at the tv that was playing a documentary about tortoises "I got it. The only way around his skin is through his mouth or through his fudger" The leader said to himself but mostly to the other man. Billy then turned to Frenchie and gave him a look that meant 'lets go kill this fucker'

Peering through that tiny window, Frenchie tapped his fingers against the doorframe, deep in thought. Translucent was just /sitting/ there, laughing his ass off, while they were just waiting around to get snatched by Vought. “Eh, diamond skin is a problem, but what if there was a way around this?” He asked, turning his gaze from Translucent. “This smug asshole must have some weakness, no?”

The Bounty Hunter/assassin sat in the corner of the bar, tapping her finger on the end of her cigarette, almost impatiently, as she blew a gentle ring of smoke from her lips. Her feet were propped up on the table in front of her as she leaned back, her hair covering a lot of her face. Though Vanessa found her gaze curiously flickering over to a man sitting alone at one of the tables. Her head tilted slightly. “You don’t look happy to be here. Bad day?” She called casually, holding her cigarette between her fingers with a raised eyebrow, even though she knew it was none of her business.

The Spanish woman smirked a little, nodding her head as she took another drag from her cigarette. “You’re telling me.” She muttered, her eyes flickering across the room. She was waiting for someone to arrive, not that they would know that. The bounty hunter/assassin was on a case for the company she worked for, The Ambassadors, who wanted someone dead, for reasons not even Vanessa knew. Though she tried not to ask questions. She just got the job done.

“So you’re here to drink away your sorrows?” She added, eyeing the empty glass in front of him.

With an empty glass in front of him, the Frenchman had been staring at the table for some time, tapping his fingers against it lightly. When she spoke, he raised his head, that pensive expression splitting into a small smile. Though, it was just now he had even realized she was there.

“Ah, we all have bad days, no?” Eyeing the stranger curiously, he answered in a not so direct way, choosing to keep a little privacy to himself.
