Alrighty, guys, here's the ordeal. 
          For a long while, I felt burnt out on writing. I wanted to give up on my stories and throw them away forever, but they were always there in the back of my mind. 
          Then, my boyfriend happened. And slowly but surely, I've been bringing things back. First, my pride and joy, Life on Jyeskern. Then, my even bigger pride and joy, the Cryptids. 
          I'm trying my very hardest this summer to get things going. My main focus right now is on the Cryptids, which don't have an actual story going yet, with Life on Jyeskern on the side. Frenchie is coming back, baby! 

Hello! I thought I should give a small update on what's been going on with Life on Jyeskern.
          I am re-rewriting Life on Jyeskern and changing the characters significantly (at least, I'm trying very hard to). Today was my middle school promotion, and I've been under a lot of stress leading up to that, but I know that you'll be able to understand. Now that I have an entire summer to work on my writing, I will certainly be up to it a lot more often and I am trying very hard to motivate myself to write despite some of the things that have been going on. I would just like you guys to know that I have in no way given up on the story. It's simply on hiatus for a little while.

"Life on Jyeskern" is unique and personal to me in that it reflects events going on in my real life, just altered to fit this particular story. Life on Jyeskern is one of my most proud creations, and I'm hoping to write tons of chapters on it later. But I just wanted to inform you guys that the next few chapters might be on the darker side because of this "life reflection" concept. There will be more drama. There will be more pain. There will be more tears. But Geneste will always make it if Mr. Lawrence is alongside her.
