Hey, I was meaning to ask if you know an author called Whineoh. I was reading their story “Above it” and I thought it was quite similar to yours, “The law of blood”. You should check it out, I wouldn’t want anyone stealing your work!

@FrightenedApple i genuinely got like the second chapter and already felt something wrong. I don’t really feel like your topic is really common because you put a lot of original things in it. If it was a random lexa story I would’ve get it but it had so many details I couldn’t ignore. There’s a difference between taking inspiration and just paraphrasing your work and making it also theirs. I always like looking out for my authors as I’m also an author myself (just not here). I genuinely like your story and I wouldn’t like to see someone else taking it. Don’t thank me, that’s what we are here for!

@mamiperezforever So I was at chapter 25-26 at the time when the author first started publishing. TBH I wouldn't have even noticed if they weren't on the top ranks like me in tags. So one day I was curious and started reading, thinking what the fuss is all Abt.
            
            I read like 10-11 chapters of their work and I was pretty baffled. I even commented in their chapters.
            
            Reasons why I was baffled -
            
            1. I was thinking that I am getting paranoid for no reason cuz maybe it's not that similar and feels only similar to me.
            
            2. I only read 1-2 fanfics in this genre (lexa kom trikru), that too after I started writing mine.
            
            3. I thought the topic I chose was pretty common and many ppl hv wrote Abt it so I didn't pay much attention.
            
            4. Ya I did notice sm plots are similar. (I didn't read after chapter 11, so idk what else is happening) And I thought maybe she is taking inspiration from mine.
            
            
            I didn't think that they are stealing my work. And honestly thanks for letting me know ;). Tbh I somewhat felt honoured that sm1 thinks my work is worthy enough to steal. Although their presentation of words needs a Lil bit of working, they are still small so I don't really feel threatened. 
            
            And to me knowing that my fans know that sm1 is stealing my work is a win enough, I think. But thankyou sm for looking out for me, I love my audience. And also I'll look into this and see what I can/should do.
