I am happily mistaken. Two of my stories have been voted on by a dear follower. Perhaps these will be one of many? Perhaps not. All depends on if I keep pumping out quality writing every week, and someone, anyone sees them. Then maybe that someone tells someone else. And that someone tells someone tells someone else. And so on. We'll just have to see, won't we?

It is done. Part Three of my experimental little short story collection is complete. At this rate, I think I'll make updates a weekly occurrence. One that will go unseen by all but myself, or at least, that's how it seems so far.

In regards to your profile, I wasn't going anywhere. You must have thought that shape-shifting corpse was me. Ha ha! Oh how we laugh.

@FroYoSloMo I prefer to fight than run away.

How refreshing to see someone stick around. Most run away. But not you.

I expect a third story to go up today or tomorrow. I'm disappointed to see no one has payed it the slightest bit of attention, but am not entirely shocked. Doesn't matter much to me. I just needed a place to put them all.

I wish I could find one decent person to talk to about what interests me. I have you, single follower, but you obviously didn't follow me because of my witty comments and attempts at finding kindred spirits. No, I can only attribute that to my profile picture, which though I like, does not represent me. I'd change it, but I don't have it saved anywhere, and can't find it anywhere else. Moving on. Due to the lack of any comments from you after any of my pointless updates, I can only assume you have forgotten little ol' Joker. Well that's perfectly fine. I doubt we would have much to discuss. What I've learned from your description, updates, and reading choice proves that. All I can hope for now is that I discover someone, or someone finds me, and I can finally have an intelligent conversation with someone. Maybe I'll write the first entry in that short story collection I've been considering. Well, until that happens, I'll be here. Alone.

What are the chances of me ever writing anything? I'd say mid to low 40's. What are the chances of me talking to anyone on this site about something meaningful, besides a minor quip I made in the comments? Even lower. I wonder if that'll change anytime soon

Been thinking about Nietzche lately. Some wonderful quotes to remember are of course, "And when you gaze long into an abyss, the abyss gazes into you", and(polarizing to some >:) "God is dead". Maybe I'll become like those people on Facebook who post quotes from philosophers, or the bible. Let's hope not.

It's Saturday night, and I'm bored as [EXPLETIVE REDACTED], and have nothing better to do, so I'm going to rant. I can be very opinionated when it comes to things like books and film. My critique is influenced by such sites as Rotten Tomatoes, and Metacritic. So what follows is only to be expected.
I absolutely despise the YA genre that has exploded in popularity, with adaptations being made all the time, and it pisses me off. It all started with The Hunger Games, a semi-decent series of novels that is basically a Battle Royale with cheese. When the film was released, to great reviews from critics and fans alike, something had begun. Something that would turn Hollywood into even more of a cash hungry beast than it was before. Suddenly, we had Divergent. A mediocre attempt to piggyback off of The Hunger Game's surprising success. Despite being only the second film of its kind to release after Hunger Games, it sealed the fate of every YA adaptation to come. Whether it be Maze Runner, or any other book about a special individual fighting an oppressive government, it is fated to crash and burn. Which is why it is important that these films are halted in their tracks. One final thing. I'm sure you are all aspiring writers, random followers I have managed to obtain, by chance. So I urge you. Do not follow in the footsteps of these YA authors, who look only to exploit the teenage readership for profit, by making their clone, and sitting back as it makes bank in the bookstores, and in the box office. Try to be better then them. Write something with originality, substance, anything that actually makes it good. And with that, I bid thee, ado.
