Hey! Sorry it took so long to respond. I didn’t have a notification saying that someone wrote me. To answer your question, I’d suggest adding descriptive details to the writing. Some just do the minimum but neglect to add in what makes a book a book. The scene should come alive while not making a reader think that it’s dragging on. Plus at least with me I try to make the scenes realistic where if someone gets injured the injury remains for a time or is at least mentioned a bit longer
