i have this headcanon where tommys chat are imaginary friends that he can only see and the others play along with it, whether its because they do it for fun, or because tommy keeps insisting they're real so they go along with it as a way to shut him up. though due to his viewer count, i like to think he can only see 5 - 10 at a time.
          
          imagine tommy yelling at wilbur and insisting his imaginary friends are real and wilbur accepting it to make him calm down.
