Today I published Little Lost Luna on Kindle, and it's also now available on Kindle Unlimited. It's been a hectic year (my divorce should be final in two days, finally), but things are settling down, and I'm so excited to finally be doing this. It has been edited pretty extensively from the original version that was here on Wattpad. For those who don't have Kindle Unlimited, it should be $2.99. I tried to keep it affordable for readers while still hoping to make a little bit to support my writing and my family so I can keep doing this (and hopefully write more than I have had time to these past six months). There's also a paperback version in the works, which I'm pretty excited about.

Thanks to everyone who has been so supportive and patient this past year. You really helped me get through a tough time.

And if you have read it and loved it and feel like leaving a review, that would be amazing, too. Getting reviews starting out is sort of intimidating!

@Hab_waj It does look like it worked on my profile! And I also created a tiny URL to post here that I don't think will be clickable that should at least be easier to type in: https://tinyurl.com/littlelostluna . Thank you for asking, because I wouldn't have remembered to put it in my profile without your comment. :)

@Hab_waj it should be under Little Lost Luna by Ophelia Shaw. I can try to post the link here, but usually, Wattpad doesn't allow clickable links. Although, that just made me realize I think I can do it on my profile on the lefthand side of the page. I'll comment here a second time if that works!

Hey, I’m really sorry for posting this on your message board—I hope it’s okay I just wanted to share my story with people who genuinely love reading emotional, intense plots.

Elena grew up in a home where silence was safer than speaking.
          Where love didn’t comfort—it hurt.
Where pain became something she stopped questioning… and simply learned to endure.

          She didn’t dream.
          She didn’t expect.
          She survived.

          Until one night changed everything.

A night that wasn’t meant to matter.
A moment she told herself she could forget.
A mistake she thought she could bury deep enough to never resurface.

          But some moments don’t fade.
          Some people don’t disappear.

Because the man she thought she’d never see again…
was never meant to walk back into her life.

          And yet—he did.

          Not as a stranger.
          Not as a memory.

But as someone she can’t avoid.

          Someone dangerous.
          Someone who doesn’t hesitate.
          Someone who doesn’t ask—only takes.

          And the worst part?

It’s not just fear she feels anymore.

          It’s something far more complicated.
Something she doesn’t want to name.
Something that pulls her in even when she’s trying to run.

          This story isn’t about love.
It’s about power, temptation, submission … and the kind of connection that feels wrong in every way, yet refuses to let go.

So if you enjoy stories that are a dark, messy, and full of tension that keeps building with every chapter…

You might want to give this one a chance ✨

Hi. At the moment I’m not writing.

My husband of seventeen years announced on last Sunday, which had been a perfectly normal day, where we’d laughed and talked liked any other day, that he was done. On Monday morning he served me with divorce papers.

So I’m learning to juggle being a single mom with five kids, three in elementary school, one middle schooler, and one high schooler, and trying not to cry for too many hours a day.

Writing at all has been hard, but writing romance, something I usually adore, has been impossible.

I’m taking lots of walks in the woods and fields and hoping that when night rolls around I’ll be so exhausted I’ll fall into bed and sleep.

I’ll be back to writing as soon as I can. I’m hoping it’s sooner rather than later.

@FullMoonScribe I'm sorry that happened to you, similar situation happened to me three years ago after being married for almost 30 years except my ex told me over the fon at 2am....what I will say from my experience is that feelings don't go away over night and give yourself grace, let yourself cry, heal, and whatever you need to get back to being a wonderful you, but go through as a family, don't worry about the children seeing you cry, they need to see that this hurt you and who caused this trauma but you're strong and you will overcome, it won't be easy but it will be worth it to know that for your self worth and your children you survived one of hardest obstacles in your life and came out to start a new chapter, I pray for you and your family

I feel like all I've been doing lately is posting updates as I try to figure out exactly how I want to share my writing going forward. There's been a lot of trial and error and learning this month. I did finally take down Little Lost Luna and Saving Briar, as I'd promised to do about a month ago.

Saving Briar is currently on Inkitt and is free to read, although at this point I'm leaning towards moving it over to Kindle in the hopefully near future. Little Lost Luna is now on Kindle Vella, with some changes and editing. And My Best Friend's Daddy is My Alpha is also on Kindle Vella. It's all easy to find under my name, Ophelia Shaw.

I will likely be taking down Red's story in coming months and moving it over to either Kindle Vella or Kindle Unlimited. Thanks for coming along on this whole roller coaster of figuring things out with me.

I have been writing, and I do plan on keeping my profile here active with new stories. I just have to figure out what is going to go where first!

I hope you choose to publish on Kindle Unlimited because Vella is unfortunately not available in Europe

I needed to switch one thing from yesterday's post. I made a FB profile but I figured a page was probably way better for this whole thing. So now that's done too. I added it to the sidebar links on my profile and I'll put it down below here in comments, if you'd like to follow along there with what I'm up to on different platforms. So far I'm at 0 followers, likes and it's a teensy bit intimidating!

@FullMoonScribe Done! Congratulations love the page
