I need to stop getting distracted and starting new projects, I haven't really been working on much besides a private project that I've lost interest in for the moment. So, sorry about so much delay with everything, I'm hoping to pick back up on the Ranboo fics soon. Forget and echoes are still where they were last time, but here's a clip from that project I've been working on for now:
"Okay that should be good for now, I might have to check them after the storm though." Fen said, walking inside. I felt a gust of cold air rush in, but it was cut off when she closed the door.
"Somethiung wrong? You're all fluffed up like you've been spooked." She asked, sitting down a couple feet from me on the couch.
"No, I'm fine," There was another loud crash of thunder and I winced.
"Are you scared of thunder?" She asked, sounding amused at her own question.
"Weren't you the leader of the Avians or something? How can you be scared of thunder?"
"I am not scared of thunder," I mumbled, smoothing down my feathers and nestling further into the cushions.
"Hey, it's fine to be scared of something, you don't have to be some kind of fearless leader even when nobody else is around. I'm scared of Creepers if that helps at all, the thought of something that dangerous makes me uneasy."
"Nobody likes Creepers, that doesn't really count as something you're scared of." I mumbled, willing my feathers to stay flat as another shock of thunder rumbled closer than the last. I heard Fen scoot closer to me from down the couch, glancing up to see her sitting beside me now. I sat up and folded my wings at my sides, letting my legs hang off the edge of the couch. Lightning flashed outside, lighting up the room for less than a second before being followed by another growl of thunder. I pulled my legs back against the couch and held back the urge to curl back into a ball and stay like that until the storm was over.
Okay that's all for now, idk when I'll be back, hopefully soon
