APPEARANCE
She always keeps her posture tall and her eyes alert. Lean and thin, but deceptively strong.
She wears patched leather and furs. Clothing made for ease of movement and cold weather, not combat-ready armor. Her face and body are mapped with scars. She's seen many battles, and it shows in her rough hands and scarred form.
Most prominent are her large, pale blue eyes. They stare into your soul.
When she walks into a room, people notice. Not because she demands it, but because she holds a stillness. A weight. A quiet that isn't empty.
Sometimes she talks to herself. Or to someone else. No one is sure which.
PERSONALITY
She is quiet, listening more than speaking. Direct. She asks the hard questions not to wound, but to understand. She does not lie. The most she would offer is silence when confronted with a question she does not want to answer.
For some people, usually those who carry deep fear, hatred, or regret, her gaze keeps shifting over their arm. As if she sees something no one else can. People say she can see the shape of a person's soul. Fargrimr insisted she be called Seiðkona, which translates roughly to "witch." Not a negative connotation here. They are sought out for wisdom.
Sometimes her gaze drifts, as if she sees something moving past her. Following a sound only she hears. She'll pause mid-sentence, listening, then continue like nothing happened.
She is deeply empathetic. Every innocent death weighs on her heart. When she laughs, it is as if she's surprised she still can.
HER QUEST
She seeks to help rebuild the clans of Iceland. In her scarred mind, she calls it Midgard. Heal the wounds caused by the Goði and the giants.
It is a struggle. She still needs to deal with the Drauger cults and Askja's eruption. Her limited mercy is tested every day. The whispers of tyranny still reach her ears, no matter how hard she tries to cut them out.
