Hi everybody! I've been working on a collaboration story with Shelbyoftheshadows called Broken Blue. Just wanted to announce that this was released on her profile and we have a few chapters up! It's book one of what we plan to be a trilogy. Enjoy this story about a boy and his dragon! (Or ignore this. If you don't like fantasy, sorry for shamelessly advertising my collab.)

So..
          
          I've talked with my mother, my friend who's editing for me, my father, and some other friends. My original decision was to wait until Ink was finished to publish.
          
          BUT!!!
          
          Everyone who's read what I have so far has reversed their original decision. And so have I. So now Ink will update every Monday! 

So just a rant-
          
          What the heck, characters? This WASN'T WHAT I WANTED! Why is my book writing itself? I want the characters to do something but they don't want to and AGH WHY?!?!? I never really understood what authors meant by saying "i didn't mean to, these characters wrote themselves" but HOLY CRAP it's like my characters stole my metaphorical pen and just said "nope, we're in charge now" and this is NOT what I planned for Ink but it's good and probably better than if I'd actually planned it because my planned writing isn't that great. *recalls all the overly thought-out stories I wrote that didn't flow right at all* oh well. Ink is coming along well and I'll try to be done by November 1. Hold me to it, folks. I WILL TRY TO SLACK OFF. DON'T LET ME.  
          
          For those of you thinking this is a mindless ramble it is and if you have a problem with that why the HECK did you read this far into it?
          
          I am excited and terrified for wattys 2020 and I'm going to try to enter Ink, my first serious novel. I'm going to fail, but it'll be fun! And a learning experience. (One thing I have already learned- characters CAN indeed write themselves.) Thank you for reading this ramble and have a good day.

Hi! So I have a question. I'm writing a new story, Ink. I have sixteen chapters finished. Should I wait until my book is finished and then publish, publish now, or publish for a short period for partial beta reading?
