i got the news on the bus, and i was fighting tears the entire ride. my friend asked me what was wrong but i honestly couldn’t move or breathe. i can’t stop crying. he must’ve been in so much pain and all of us failed to notice it and give him the support he needed to get better. he made us all so happy, and i can’t help but feel like i wasn’t there for him when i could’ve been. we shawols and kpop stans can never ever forget what he’s done for music and what he’s done for us as fans and people in general. this entire thing feels immensely inadequate for how much he meant but i don’t even think i can put all the proper words together. he was heaven-sent, and i suppose we all return to where we came from in the end, but it wasn’t his time. he deserved an entire lifetime of happiness no matter what he chose to do with his life. i miss him- and i’ll keep missing him- but all i ever really wanted was his smile, and i hope that he’s smiling now, wherever he is, and that he’ll smile forever.
support the people you love. whatever they’re doing, support them. send them compliments and positivity every single day, because you never know what is happening inside their brains and any little thing can help.
