If anyone is in the Seven Deadly Sins fandom and know how to speak spanish/portuguese [or whatever language it is- but I think it's spanish] [if you're no computer on the website you can translate it tho] here if a fanfiction recommendation !:

          I know this isnt the proper place but I still wanted to give you this satisfaction at last. I saw your coment at my story and I apologize for cant reply at time, I had to get away from wattpad for a little. But anyway I wanted to answer your question. (even tought It already had been) 
           Being an otherpaw is compleately a choice! So yes, you can become one. Its a hobbie wich means that if one day you also wanna quit you can as well. Is not an identity or anything similar as what it is n alterhuman comunity. I hope this helps, and again I apologize for this inconvenience. If you have any other doubt dont hesitate getting in contact directly, Ill do my best for this kind of thing dont happen again.

            I completely understand that you respond a little late, and that is fine for me ! Take all the time you need to answer do not worry about it ! You can't bebon wattpad all the time after all you still have a life outside of the internet.
