I’m basically trying to redo my whole writing style and expand my vocabulary so if you guys have any tips pls share them with me!

what helped me is researching through reading ! highlight favorite sentences and how they flow , how they use grammar and how they set the pace . for instance , if you wanna write something that reads like gothic literature, your writing should lean more into describing the dark atmosphere. i.e gloomy weather , a sense of impending doom , etc.
