I hope that wherever you are now, you are doing better.

I know that no one will probably see this, but it's me GabrielAntihero again. It's been awhile. I deleted the email I had for this account and forgot the password. So here we are.
          
          And here we are. Almost 3 years to day since my last post, feels like longer. Sorry to get anybody's hopes up but the chances of any of the old projects being picked back up are slim to none. Was talking with a friend about fanfiction and I couldn't help but to remember my days on here. 
          
          It's strange thinking back about all the time that's passed, who I was back then, and who I am now. The me from back then wouldn't recognize the me that's writing this now. And don't worry I still am writing just not fanfic anymore. Nothing wrong with fanfic of course. 
          
          Back in 2020 I was a dumb kid who didn't realize he was having a mental breakdown. But I was right about somethings. Writing is magic, one of the only cases of real magic in this world. We put words on a page to describe something in our minds and when someone even on the other side of the globe reads it they imagine almost the exact same thing. That's magic.
          
          So keep writing whenever you can. It's hard, because whether we see it coming or not we all grow up. And life happens and takes on some terrifying roller coaster. But don't be scared, because all you need to do is open a book to escape. And magic is real, and you can do it. All you need to do is write. And so what if it sucks at first, everyone sucks at first. I look back at the stories on here and almost want to delete them. But the world needs more magic, so I don't.
          
          So get out there and make some magic. Read all you can because reading is magic too. So since I'm sure most of you are quite young enjoy it! And for those who are leaving childhood behind remember that magic is still out there. In the warm spring air, the laughter of friends, and in you.

Hello again everyone, I'm afraid that I have some bad news. For the foreseeable future, I won't be working on Blaster and Blade, rebooting Into The Spider-verse, or starting anything new. I meant to have Blaster and Blade finished a while back but things got hectic and then I honestly just forgot about it. But I will be homeless in a matter of days so I don't know what will happen, but thank all of you for enjoying my writing. That meant more than you could ever know.
          
          Until further notice, Antihero out.

I'm back! So a new Blaster and Blade chapter will be up tomorrow, probably. I'm working on it now. Sorry to keep you waiting but I'll finish it, even if no one reads it.

Question: Is voting for your own story immoral. I vote for my stories because (I think) that makes them more likely to be recommended, and consequently, read. Seeing the eyeball number increase also increases my drive to write, makes me feel like my writing matters to people. So that's why I do it. But what are your thoughts on it?
