I just read The Paradise Trap and the moment when the elevator revealed the hidden sequence leading to Floor 101 really gripped me it built so much suspense. Did you always imagine that scene as the turning point or did it evolve while writing?

@GabrielMoore37 That’s really cool it shows how much planning went into making that reveal hit so hard. I like that you balance planning with letting the story evolve naturally. Do you usually map out the big twists first or discover them as the characters move forward?
