Gaby Michalska is a writer of cosy small town romances set on England's south coast. Her books are full of banter, humour, and steam. Her characters have careers and personalities, but are not free from doubt and the questions of 'what next'. 

She's been writing since she knew how to string a sentence together, starting with Harry Potter and Twilight fan fiction. She wrote her first full-length novel while at university, and her second, The Heartbreak Cottage, in her early 30s. 

In her free time, apart from writing, she enjoys reading extensively and broadly, going for walks and taking adult ballet lessons. She lives with her husband in Kent.
