Right, so I posted the book where I will be putting the chapters of the second fanfic for anyone who wants to know when the chapters are up. That is a weird way of saying it, yes, but that is because I'm being finiky with the first chapter and wanted to get some feedback... anyhoooow

'Ell Sadem' may not be 'Fight or Flight,' but it's still a fun project sort of along the same vibes. I realize I probably should have introduced it a little more than I had when I first published it, but I didn't so here's the inro for those interested.

'Ell Sadem' follows Elaina Mercy as she struggles to keep her head above the surface as the plot keeps trying to drown her--standard and not very descriptive, but true. The point is, Ella just wants to exist without getting bothered, but she attracts trouble like a magnet. There had been threats made against her and attempted murders in her past, even the odd attempted kidnapping but no one knows why. In the time of the plot, those same issues come back to haunt her, but this time the kidnapping succeeds and she's ripped away from home and security into another existence entirely. Finally, the reasons for the mess start to slowly unravel and it becomes painfully clear that she has always been in the middle of a plot for control, and unfortunately, a simple existence was never in her cards.

There are multiple pov's, and it is more of an urban-fantasy setting than not--think Naria type worldbuilding except the modern world is a post ww3 dystopian setting and there are multiple other 'realities.' There aren't spaceships and dragonnetts, but there are creatures and, uh... you know, maybe just check it out yourself, you may like it.

Anyway, I have updates lined up and scheduled for Sundays and Wednesdays

So uh... Yeah. Second chapter is up. The first couple are maybe a little rough but that is very well just because I'm a perfectionist and my own worst critic in this subject. Anyhow, enjoy
I just published "TWO: THE RANK-LESS " of my story "Ell Sadem ". https://www.wattpad.com/1459668573?utm_source=android&utm_medium=profile&utm_content=share_published&wp_page=create_on_publish&wp_uname=GailWindridge

Hi Gail. We had talked a while back when I read your book all in one day. It was so good! I decided to write my own dragonet book and then followed it with a second one. They are both short stories and are complete. Could you take a look? I would love your feedback on whether I did justice to UWOC.

GailWindridge

@april_jester I'll look into it, from what I've seen of one so far, it's stylistically reminiscent of journal entries.

Genuine question, if someone described a kid with the phrase 'he looks like he bites,' what image comes to mind?

@GailWindridge bug eyed, bowl cutted, yellow shifted, and white shoed.

A little kid with their head tilted to the side, smiling creepily while drooling. Staring at the person who that was said to.

If your teenage years are your second infancy, then your early adult years are your second childhood.

So, by this logic, it's okay to not have everything figured out, and it's okay to keep asking questions even when they feel stupid.

For all of those following for 'Fight or Flight', I just posted the last chapter. I hope you enjoy it and let me know what you think.
