@AtomDuck5 Yeah, I was afraid a gpu failure might have been the cause of it, or even a ram problem. Luckily, after formatting, the issue appears to be resolved. Well, more accurately, it hasn't returned yet, which likely rules out a hardware malfunction. 
            
            With that out of the way, I’m back to writing the next chapter. The draft is about halfway done, so there's a good chance it'll be released this week.

            Welp as always love your work , gonna wait till you drop another peak chap , hopefully your gpu issues are behinf you by now :p 
            

@AtomDuck5 Hey, thanks for checking in. So sorry about the delay, though. I’ve had very little time to work on the story after publishing the last update. And to make matters worse, just a few days ago, my pc’s graphics driver began malfunctioning when running directx 12 applications. I’ve tried troubleshooting and reinstalling it multiple times, but the problem persists. So now I might have to format windows and hope it solves the issue. With all that said, I’m still gonna try to release a chapter by next week. Hopefully, by then, my pc will be fixed.

@AtomDuck5 ohh damn that's awesome lol. Keep at it with your own pace author, and again love the story so far :)

@AtomDuck5 By the end of the week, hopefully. I already have the next two chapters done, and Chapter 19 is well underway.
            
            Initially, they were all meant to be one massive chapter, but I decided it was best to split them. Chapters 17 and 18 alone should be around 30 minutes of reading time each. As for Chapter 19... well, I’d guess it’ll be close to an hour, give or take. It’s still a work in progress, so I can’t be certain yet. 
            
            I haven't released the finished chapters yet for the sake of consistency. I may need to tweak a few details depending on how things unfold in Chapter 19.
