So, hey.
Haven't been on in AGES and that's kinda goofy. Life update of sorts to sorta clear the air. I've been busy to put it simply with other things, a loss in my own family, and a new relationship that has become a priority, and thus haven't had the time to write. I took some time however to think about everything and decided to do something drastic. I'm rebooting the series Desert Winds Academy. Characters that already exist will still exist but most if not all will be changed in some way, shape, or form.
The reasoning is, while I have fun writing, the story I had built was rough, and looking back at it now, I handled some of the decisions I made for my story very poorly (fumbling the Main Antagonist, some of my main cast and the characters suggested to me by my personal friends as well feeling sorta forced in.) I simply wanna rewrite my own story here with my new exposure to other forms of media and my new experience in writing and hopefully, try to build a story that feels better.
I'm also planning a fantasy story! I've got a couple of pages with a world, maps, characters, and a power system all drawn up as well as practicing storyboarding! It's been challenging but fun!
