Hi everyone!

This is actually my first time posting an announcement, so I’m a little nervous but I really wanted to ask for your help.

I read Employed by @personasintro quite a while ago, and ever since then I’ve found myself going back and rereading it again and again. Since the story isn’t completed yet and there haven’t been recent updates, I’ve been trying to find something with a similar vibe to fill that void.

I especially love enemies-to-lovers stories with a genuine slow-burn dynamic—where the characters start off with real resentment or tension rather than simply pretending to dislike each other. I also enjoy when the characters don’t already know each other before their first meeting, so their relationship can develop naturally throughout the story.

The kind of dynamic where the hostility at the beginning feels authentic and the emotional progression unfolds gradually and realistically is exactly what I’m looking for.

So I wanted to ask—have any of you read a story with a similar tone, writing style, or character dynamic? If you have any recommendations, I would truly love to hear them!

Thank you so much, and feel free to share as many suggestions as you’d like.
