I’m thinking of doing a personal book off my own characters.
That doesn’t mean I’m ending my Alastor book, of course!
It just means I’ll have more things to handle, so the chapter may be smaller or perhaps more infrequent?
Anyways, it would be an au with maybe 10 chapters? I think I’d like to keep it small. It would be of my two characters:
Vanessa, a French, undead marionette who was once human but (spoilers), and now lives with her brother in the city and basically babysits his drunken ass half the time. They are both involved with the mafia, due to ties with their father and her brother “taking over the business” after their father croaked. But everyone knows Vanessa is the more competent and responsible one. She wears suits most of the time and smokes a pipe, thus sometimes being harassed by homophobes believing her to be a dyke. (They’re technically not wrong.) They don’t last much longer after saying this, however.
And Joshlynn, a black waitress living in a gang infested city. She’s just a normal human though, so she’s not very important or well known. She lives by herself in a less wealthy part of town, but has a very passionate spirit and determination to make a better life for herself. (Preferably not in this city, however.) She often wears dresses and the average feminine fashion, but she’d really like to wear something more comfortable...but daddy would roll over in his grave if she wore men’s clothes. She can often be insecure about herself.
So yeah! Imma do a thing! I’ll probably write the first three chapters before publishing it, and maybe draw a cover...? ;))
