Hullo! I saw your question on J. nicole's conversation list about how she writes so well, and I thought that I would try to answer. (No I am not stalking you, I was just scrolling through her conversation tab)
One of the things that I think helped me out a ton with writing, was reading books. I am a huge reader and I feel that after reading all those books, I learned new vocabulary, different styles of writing, and a whole new outlook.
Now, I know I'm a random person, and my writings aren't that great, but maybe try it out?
