I'm probably a bit older than your average fan fiction writer (who am I kidding, I'm old enough to be someone's grandmother!)

There's not much in the way of fan fiction for the Beach Boys. Even less so for Carl Wilson, always  destined to live in the shadow of brother Brian. How wonderful if we could really put pen to paper and rewrite  lives...

Carl Wilson and maladaptive daydreaming - not a combination that immediately springs to mind. And that wasn't the direction I expected this story to go in at the beginning, but ultimately I don't think I had a lot to do with that decision.
