@mangle_fan_chesscrew they used a type of blood when they ate the cockroaches, and they also had to eat crickets with the same "sauce" but it had maggots in 'em

@mangle_fan_chesscrew there was also and episode where one of the contestants had to eat a LIVE hissing cockroach. and they are HUGE. put your two thumbs on tips together and that's pretty much their size. obviously the contestant rejected, but the judge (Joe Rogan) was like: "watch, let me do it." which he took the cockroach and ATE IT LIVE. obviously he started to gag because it was nasty asf, but he got it down. i don't know what happened to the contestant though, all i know is that the host Joe Rogan at a live hissing cockroach.
