I really like Wattpad. I think it's an awesome forum to grow as a writer and to meet some really great people ---- but I'm not a fan of this new beta program to pay to read; while I see the purposes of this, it takes away from how relaxed this forum used to be. The ads were bad enough, but I think this takes it farther.
I'm glad people can now get paid for the masterpieces they have created, but it seems so unnecessary.

@MolayneMelody that's what I hope for. I don't want this to turn into some cash-grab service that strays from the original feel of it.

@GarrettMock It's an interesting concept, but I hope it doesn't make Wattpad lose that original feel it started to lose with all these ads, like you said.

@MolayneMelody it's in the beta phase, which means that it is being tested and still getting worked out, but the chances of it happening are pretty high. It also means that soon, only a fee certain authors will get that feature first, but it will probably affect lots of more people with the times to come.
