I don’t know if you’ve heard yet, but Sulli, a past member of F(x) was found dead in her home, there ruling it as suicide. F(x) was one of the first kpop bands I absolutely ADORED, and even though Sulli had left by the time I’d joined the fandom, I still loved her and found so much inspiration. In today’s world, things like this are everywhere and we can’t escape it. Which is why I’m sitting in my Macro class writing this and tearing up with my friend. I don’t know if anyone who reads this but, I don’t know who we (as fans) think we are for telling these beautiful people who we don’t even know that there’s something to hate about them. They aren’t perfect because they’re human, and we need to accept that. If you are a person who fees the need to criticize and correct their every move, I’m asking you to stop. We can’t keep doing this to good people. We lost Jonghyun and now Sulli, and so many before them, we can’t change much, but we can at leas help them because we’re their fans. I can only think the amount of times one of these people have helped me and millions more, but me and millions can’t save them? That’s not right. I wish there was a way we could make sure this would never happen again, and give them all our love, but I know that’s not possible. But we might as well try, right? Sulli, I love you. You’ve given me so much and I’m sorry I couldn’t return any of it. I’m sorry that this is it for you, but I hope you Rest In Peace, god we freaking love you babe❤️
