Hi Gayathri,
I just finished reading Hidden Longing’s, and I really wanted to tell you how beautiful your story is. Every part of it touched me.
I am a Tamil Brahmin, but being born and brought up in Kerala, I’m a Malayali too. Even though this isn’t the first Telugu story I’ve read, this one brought me immense happiness. I felt like I was living every moment with the characters, laughing with them, worrying with them, and feeling every emotion as deeply as they did.
I loved how you showed the bond between Gayathri, her friends, her family, and especially her Arjun bava. Their connection felt so natural and pure. Gayathri’s insecurities and overthinking felt very real. And the way Arjun supported her, understood her, and helped her accept herself through his love… it was so heartwarming. Even Shreya’s small role as a rival added a subtle spark of tension and highlighted Gayathri’s feelings even more.
The accident scene was one of the most emotional parts. Arjun’s fear, his regret, and the thought of losing Gayathri were written so well that I could actually feel his pain.
But the scene that truly stayed with me was their marriage in the hospital. Arjun tying the thali while she lay unconscious, it was pure emotion. It showed his love, fear, hope and desperation all together. It was an extremely powerful scene. Your writing made me feel every emotion.

And yes, I just want to let you know that I am filing an emotional damage case against you, for making me cry like a fool at random times
Thank you for writing such a beautiful story. Please keep writing, Gayathri! Your words truly stay with the reader.

          yours truly,
          Mistborn Reader❤️
