@clarissaharlowe Well... trust me, I'm disappointed too. If ideas were the only thing I needed, I'd have finished the whole book by now. Unfortunately, real life has other plans.
I was actually planning to announce this sometime in July, but since you asked... here's a little early reveal.
I already have an idea for my next story. I've drafted the first three chapters, but I don't want to start publishing it just yet. I prefer having at least seven or eight chapters completed before posting so I can maintain a consistent update schedule.
With my current story still ongoing and my job being quite demanding, it's been a little difficult to find enough time to build up that buffer.
So, if everything goes according to plan, I'll most likely start publishing it by the end of July.
The title is The Blessed and the Damned. It's an Indian mythological fantasy where gods still shape the fate of kingdoms, blessings come with a price, and prophecies are never as straightforward as they seem.
At the heart of the story is Prince Ishan, a child blessed by the Goddess Prakrati at birth. But the blessing comes with a prophecy so terrifying that it alters the fate of an entire kingdom: one day, someone born from his bloodline will possess the power to either unite the world... or destroy it. From that moment on, every kingdom has a reason to fear him, protect him, use him—or kill him.
It's a story of royal politics, ancient legends, impossible choices, slow-burn romance, fierce devotion, betrayal, and the question of whether destiny is something we're born with... or something we choose.
