One of the most amazing girlhood feelings ever:
When you don’t get invited to that party, and you sit back and realize, it doesn’t really matter to you. You’re not going to agonize over it, and you’re not going to suck up to that person. That feeling when your friend is talking about her boyfriend and how great he is, and you realize, there’s no longer a part of you that aches for that. You still want it, but there’s not part of you that sees the guy you passed in Walmart as a potential mate. You’re content where you are, and with who you are, and no party or boyfriend is going to change that.

@Geekgirl531 As a guy I can literally agree, because God's got my back, we are the bride of Christ. Also, Jehovah Jireh has someone for me and even if he doesn't I rather have him than a girlfriend.

@lost_girl_017 Preach sister!! I obsessed over my future husband for so long, that when my Christian friend that I’ve known since forever started showing interest, I got practically giddy. Needless to say, he was not the one, and afterwards, I felt like I couldn’t trust my own judgment with men, because I felt like he checked off all the boxes, even the spiritual ones. But like, God pre-ordained who we’re going to marry since the beginning of time, and if He’s in control, He’s not going to let me walk past my future husband, and that’s brought me so much peace
