As I am sure many of you have guessed, Verdant Prince is taking a while to remaster. You can probably guess that I have been on a hiatus (though I never announced it, I suppose I kind of have been.) Unfortunately, this break is going to extend into the New Year a bit as some things have come up and my world is hectic. I wasn't careful about my pacing and have almost completely burned myself out.

Don't worry though, in time I will get out of this funk and (hopefully) have a beautiful book to give to you all. Thank you for understanding. <3

Hey! This is random but we’re both Cancers, yay! It’s been a while since I finished reading The Verdant Prince & I miss it :’( You were excellent at showing the characters’ emotions, especially that of the reader & Loki’s. LOVE your writing style!

@Gwen2008 Bahh, it takes a long time to be happy with your writing (even now I am not entirely happy with my own.) First of all, write almost every day- it can be you just writing a sentence, a paragraph, maybe write 5 minutes, maybe 10, maybe 30 minutes, whatever you want: just write almost every day if you can! Oh geez, I don't even know where to start for tips so I will just throw some out there. Show don't tell. What this means is to show emotions/actions rather than just tell them. For example: Katy was sad. <---- Don't do that. Instead 'show' the readers that she is sad: Katy's shoulder's dropped and her heart sank. Her lip trembled and her eyes threatened to spill tears. <--- See how much of a difference that makes? Try and make sure you have correct grammar, spelling, punctuation, etc. I do this by teaching myself these things AND having Grammarly downloaded on my computer. It's free (unless you want the premium) and it's super helpful and super easy to use! Now, I am telling you this now, I highly highly HIGHLY recommend that you read a lot (every day if possible!) other people's works, actual published books, and more. I use Pinterest and Tumblr a lot because they have hundreds of writing prompts and tips and it's just so wonderful! Also, by reading other peoples work (especially if they are advanced in writing) really helps you get a better idea of writing. Like how they write certain scenes, character arcs, and so so so much more.

Don't ever be afraid to look for tips and certain things up online/the internet. The internet is your best friend for these things and I use it ALL the time. I hope some of this helped?? If you have any more questions don't be afraid to ask me or look them up! :D I am excited to see where your writing takes you! Best of luck! <3
