Dear anyone who may still be here: wow. I'm surprised. I haven't posted anything in a while. That's part of why I'm messaging you, actually.
          
          I'm moving to Ao3. Over the course of the next few days, my works will migrate over to a new audience. I will leave my works up here, with all of their comments. However, I will no longer be updating or replying to anything. For all intents and purposes, this account is dead. It's been nice knowing you all.

Hey. I know I usually keep political stuff off of my page, but I have to get this out there. I'm very disappointed with the direction America is going. For anyone who doesn't know, Roe v Wade was just overturned because abortion (the thing Roe v Wade is about) isn't protected in the constitution. This both undermines legal precedent and leaves abortions up to the individual states. More than half of our 50 states have outlawed abortion.
          
          On top of this, all sorts of minorities are being discriminated against. The library I work at was doing a pride reading last week, and the anti-LGBT community came in droves to protest. I actually felt so unsafe that I left out the side door and snuck to my car.
          
          America is in retrograde, and I don't see anything I can do about it. And I don't like that feeling.

Me: *hasn't written anything in literal months*
          Also me: *starts a new book and writes four chapters in one day because of a dream I had*

My favorite Virgil arc in fanfic is a shy and timid Virgil learning to come out of his shell and be his snarky and sarcastic self. Don't ask why, I have no idea. Doesn't make it any less true, though

To make up for not saying happy new year, here's how the sides feel about 2022:
          
          - Roman is looking forward to the new adventures he can take now that he can finally get out of the house! (... hopefully. He felt the same way about 2021, look where that got him.)
          - Patton can't wait to make new memories, but he'll have you go through 2021's memories too
          - Logan doesn't get the hype despite doing this over 30 times. ("Am.. I supposed to feel different? I don't feel any different.")
          - Virgil thinks he's the only one who actually has their head on right ("You thought 2021 would be the miracle year too, and it wasn't. I'm not getting my hopes up." (Logan: For once, I agree.))
          - Remus thinks time is stupid and just wants to cause more chaos
          - Janus needs the wine sales (Honestly, so does Logan)
          
          As for how I feel? Full-on Virgil, which is weird because I'm usually a Patton kinnie, but nothing particularly good happened in 2021 that I can remember (other than Lil Nas X becoming popular) and like I said in Virgil's segment, everyone thought 2021 would be the year of salvation or whatever, and it wasn't. So, yeah. I don't think I'm being pessimistic when I say 2022 will suck.
