Someone commented a thing about twice so here’s a twice thing! He struggles with DID and seems to only have 2 alters, the host and one other, (I /think/) so, first of all, shouldn’t he have a second name for the other alter, assuming the host in Jin? Is the other alter Twice? If it is that would both make sense and also not make sense. If we say the host is Jin and the other alter is Twice, then does that mean Twice is primarily fronting while Jin is the ‘bad’ alter that we see start to split him when he’s not wearing a mask? When he says “split” is he referring to a new alter forming? That could potentially make sense as we do hear a voice that sounds unlike Twice’s and unlike Jin’s while he’s splitting. That also begs the question did he have more than 2 alters to begin with or are those the only two that spoke up until his mask was removed? And also, since he is indeed a system, with at least 2 possibly 3 alters, wouldn’t it make more sense for everyone to refer to him as “they” since he is quite literally multiple people in one body? Also, his wiki page says he formed his alter when his doubles attacked him, but that wouldn’t make sense as typically people cannot form Alters after I believe 8 years of age as that’s when the personality is fully developed. If I’m wrong about any of this, please feel free to (politely) educate me as I’m simply going off what I’ve learned by watching people with DID on YouTube and Tiktok (namely dissocia-DID) so there’s a chance I’ve gotten some or even all of this wrong. I don’t have DID myself either, so, yeah. Sorry if I’ve offended anyone.

So I’ve been thinking about stuff which is dangerous as it is but I’ve been thinking about things that happen in this world that probably happen differently if at all in the mha world with quirks and everything and something that crossed my mind due to Chara having a new trauma is that sexual assault rates probably either sky rocketed or plummeted because on one hand, you have the uncertainty of “what is this person’s quirk? Can they overpower mine? Is this worth it?” Because I saw in an interview thing with human traffickers that if the woman they were targeting had something like an umbrella or a cane or something she could use to attack from a distance they’d look for someone else but equally if people had strong quirks and they were assholes, they’d probably do it more often since they knew they could get away with it. And also, there’d probably be groups of people that were targeted more often due to fetishisations of mutations or lack of if the offender had a mutation.

@buh_dussy honestly I didn’t intend on thinking of it it just came into my head a few days ago making my ocs backstory (again) but i figure I makes sense. We did get a pretty decent example of it in the anime and manga though. In the Shei Hassaikai raid arc, Ryukyu, Nejire, Tsu and Uraraka are going against a man called Riykiya Katsukame. I don’t remember the name of his quirk but he can essentially suck the energy from his victims by touching, tiring them out to the point they can’t even move. It also makes him grow bigger, and, he’s already a pretty big dude, we’re talking All Might/Endeavour kinda big. When his trigger wears off and he has to touch people to drain their energy again, he says to Nejire (paraphrasing here) “Sorry but I’m gonna have to get a little bit handsy with ya”, whilst making a motion with his hands that looked like he was signalling groping her chest. Nejire rightfully gets annoyed at this. But with a quirk like that, and personality like that, I can see why he would find it easy to do things like that, where as someone like…Toya Setsuno, per say, (Quirk: Larceny, can steal his opponents equipment as long as he can see it by attracting it to his hands, much like a magnet) would find it harder to pull off a crime like that as his quirk doesn’t allow a way to restrict someone’s movement or something like that like Katsukame’s does.
