Hello, my name is George Barnes and I am the author of "The People Watcher's Guide to Workmates" (Available on Amazon!!). I kick started my love of writing by creating my own romantic comedy play (Leaving Norcroft Grange), followed swiftly by a sketch show (The Rhubarb Triangle) which then lead to various pieces for magazines and then "The People Watcher's".

It is so true when people say that you've got to write about what you know and what you're interested in, so I did just that, and I wrote about people. My first book, The People Watcher's Guide to Workmates is a humorous adaptation of our most recognisable and irritating office characters and my second which will be posted on here, is The People Watcher's Guide to Students and is again a humorous collection of common stereotypes which you are likely to meet within your first week at university.
