Georgette Gouveia is the author and blogger behind "The Games Men Play," a book series and blog of sports, culture and sex. She was longtime senior cultural writer for Gannett Inc. and holds bachelor's and master's degrees from Sarah Lawrence College, where she studied with short story writer Grace Paley.
