Gerlan Lino, 26, is pursuing a PhD in Materials Science at the Federal University of Pernambuco (UFPE) in Recife, Brazil. An introvert, he began writing fiction as a way to escape traumas related to his sexuality and reality. His debut book, Worlds in Fury and Flames, marked the beginning of his literary journey. Now, the author is working on his first authorial novel, inspired by the universe of Jenny Han, author of To All the Boys I've Loved Before.
