@HerRoyalReader One of the site admins said that the thief's account had been banned/terminated after I proved that I was the rightful owner of the story. The admin then promissed that they will be more vigilant in the future to prevent such things from happening again.
            
            The site was chinese, I think, since everything was in mandarin. Aparently the thief set up a system similar to "buy me a coffee" where a reader can leave tips or small donations. Probably made a fair amount of money too, the story had well over 50k views and was nearing 60 with lots of praise in the comment sections.
            The thief even added in "unofficial" chapters to the story, but you had to pay to read them. One such chapters was of Kallen and Sakura in swimsuits going to the beach with Old Captain; it was funny since readers pointed out the massive difference in writing style between the chapters.
            
            I do use Discord for a few things, but I'm not always active on it. My ID is AkatsukiSei#9948, if adding friends still works like that after the update they did.

@HerRoyalReader I'm sorry W H A T, someone not only stole your work but also made a profit off it?!?! The Lion, The Witch and The Audacity of This Bitch. I do hope that you got on this person's ass and they stopped.

@HerRoyalReader Well each shard is its own person so they have their own stories and live their own lives, so of course each has a unique backstory and they exist in multiple timelines (past, present, future).
            I wouldn't want to go into places like Genshin or ZZZ or other miHoYo games. I like to treat each game as being separate from each other. I could make an exception and do crossovers as long as things don't contradict each other or the universe that I pick has a lot in common with Honkai. 
            For example, I've seen and read a few fan fics on Wattpad where people did crossovers of Bleach with Honkai and... it was weird. I don't mean to slander the author or say that it was bad, but I could read 3-4 chapters until everything got odd; to me, that was a poor choice to make a crossover with.
            I guess it makes for a funny read or something but I treat writing and stories too seriously to drift away too much.

@GheorgheSergiu is each soul fragment going to be its own story? Also will each fragment be only in parallel past, present or futures of HI3 or will they expand over say Genshin and HSR or even into other dimensions entirely?

@HerRoyalReader  I only post on Wattpad. He learns about that very later on after he speaks with someone. "Old Captain" was only a fragment, like many others; he just showed the most potential because he was the most like his old original self. He was "strong", determined, it reminded that unknown girl a lot of who the Captain used to be when he was whole.

            Mmm... It's monotony. Nothing exciting nor anything bad happening. So it's a bit of both I say.

@SageKaito I've uploaded 2 chapters. I guess I can't do a final bulk update as I originally intended to. I don't want people to be disappointed anymore.

@SageKaito Oh no I gave my word that I'd finish it and I don't want to let people down by either abandoning it or by giving them a half-baked story with a poor ending.
            I wanted to add more feeling to the story since in the last few moments the Captain gets some closure.
