I just realized something with the Orange Islands Arc 
          
          The episode where Misty tries to make Ash jealous I can't cut since it's a gym battle how should I work that into the story as I'm honestly lost on a reason she would do that while in a relationship with Liam 
          
          I already figured out the Rudy stuff as he'll hit on her and tell him no and it'll have Liam jealous 
          
          But I'm stuck on that episode where Misty makes Ash jealous

@sailorsenshioflove I rewatched the episode earlier and I could do that plus make it seem like she likes him better as a friend and Ash is afraid he'll be replaced so he beats him to show he's better

@Ghostraptor19have her play on his ego as a trainer just enough to where he try’s to win to prove he’s actually a good trainer I mean have her revisit how he won his gym badges out of pity maybe?

So I've decided going forward that Liam will get at least 1 starter from each generation no matter if Ash or a companion has said starter. So that being said which starters from Johto to Alola should Liam get?
