Headcanon:
Jake has both ADHD and BPD, but he’s unmedicated (either because he hasn’t been diagnosed, or because his parents don’t believe in it). This would explain why he seems so two faced in the series and could also explain why he shows a lot of the symptoms of ADHD.

@DeadSewerRats I just like to come up with stuff, but (in my head) he either has a personality disorder, or he’s so used to making others happy to the point where he’s lost sight of who he is. (You don’t have to believe this, this is just my ideas.)
