Gianfranco Vigneri nasce nel 1973 a Roma, città di cui è profondamente innamorato, dove ha studiato, lavora, vive e dove è ambientato questo suo romanzo d'esordio: "La Piuma sulla pelle".
Felicemente sposato e padre di tre figli è, da sempre, un amante della lettura, della musica e del teatro.
Attivo come musicista non professionista, ha scritto album originali fra cui Story of Marion & Damiel e collaborato in diverse formazioni sempre legate a progetti di musica originale, Tecno Tenco, Fixes, Memoria.
Dal 2020 scrive per diverse pubblicazioni nel blog internazionale Medium, diventa co-editore di alcune di esse, fino a fondarne una nel 2022: 
Just to Talk About.

Happily married and a father of three, he has always been a passionate reader, music enthusiast, and theatre lover.
Active as a non-professional musician, he has written original albums such as Story of Marion & Damiel and collaborated in various formations always tied to projects of original music, including Tecno Tenco, Fixes, and Memoria.
Since 2020, he has been contributing to various publications on the international blog Medium, becoming a co-editor for some of them. In 2022, he founded his own blog: Just to Talk About.
