          	It doesn't make a lot of sense to me and another thing to note is that I believe Ace can use Observation Haki as well it was just never mentioned and shown only once as far as I have seen. In episode 101 Ace was able to sense two people out in the desert of Alabasta those being his own brother and Scorpion (a guy trying to capture Ace). Again this is the only time I've seen this happen so far, but if Ace did have Observation Haki available to him to learn and master he would have survived Marineford...

I understand that Luffy needed to become stronger, no argument there.
          	  But I find it wrong that Oda nerfed Ace so hard that it made him useless against Akainu. If Ace knew Haki like fans and even the creator have admitted too, than how is it possible for him to not use any Haki in the war?
          	  He was killed for story purposes and to push Luffy to become stronger which was smart in terms of impacting Luffy, his crew and the world. 
          	  However, to make him so weak that he couldn’t hold his own against an admiral  based on Devil Fruit powers alone is careless. I wanted Ace to live, but his death was key to the story and if he really had to die then Oda should have shown all the Haki abilities Ace had and was just simply numbered and skilled facing more than just 1 admiral based on element type.

I think about this all the time. I’ve come to the conclusion that Ace needed to die for Luffy’s sake. Luffy needed to get stronger before he got into the New World. If he didn’t, he would have gotten rocked on his first encounter, even worse than his first encounter with CC on Punk Hazard. Zoro even calls Luffy out on his BS when he finds out that he lost  
          	  Is it a shitty way to force someone to get stronger? Kinda but it gave Luffy the drive. He was ready to throw it all away before Jinbe gave him the harsh truth about what he has left (his crew). 
          	  If Ace would have lived in Marineford, I don’t think the new age of pirates would have happened because Luffy would have just become complacent. Like “yep I saved Ace by the skin of my teeth. Time to go challenge a Yonko” and that OP would be over because Luffy wouldn’t have probably died. 
          	  Idk that’s how I look at it. I still get pissed that Ace died but that’s how I rationalize it ‍♀️

Spoiler for One Piece! (Mini Rant) PART 1
          What I will never understand is that Ace is confirmed to use Conqueror's Haki and Armorment Haki yet you don't really see him use either during his fight with Blackbeard or the Marineford War... You can't tell me that during Ace's 3 years on the open sea before Luffy set out for the Grandline that he never learned to use these abilities in combat?
          He was on Moby Dick with multiple commanders that are confirmed to use Armorment Haki and Whitebeard himself knowing full well how to use Conqueror's Haki and somehow Ace never learned to use those abilities that would have saved his life in the war.
          I don't expect him to beat any of the Vice Admirals, but I didn't expect him to die either. His fight with Blackbeard made sense that Ace had no idea of what devil fruit power Blackbeard had and despite that traitor flaunting his new powers there were still too many unknowns. Blackbeard has been under Ace's command for what I assume is a few months or a year at most and knows all of Ace's moves and abilities. So it makes sense for Ace to lose that fight.
          But to lose to the Lava dog based on devil fruit powers alone is basically slapping viewers in the face with a pokemon outlook that lava beats fire and that holds true throughout One Piece in terms of Logia types. However, even if you have a disadvantage based on devil fruit type and abilities, there have been fights where devil fruit users are overpowered by Haki usage or understanding. I mean look at Rayleigh with Kizaru or Whitebeard with Shanks or Luffy vs Sentomaru.
          Luffy learns to use all three types of Haki practically mastering one of them in the span of 2 years and somehow for some reason Ace never learned, trained or mastered one of the Haki's in his 3 years?

@GidgetDidget i figured that because Akainu went for Luffy, Ace panicked and didn't think to use his haki, just jumped in the way on gut instinct. I only say that because I forget about things that some might consider important when I panic

          I'd like to hear your thoughts and opinions on who should be what element and why.

An Update one my One Piece One-Shot book,
          I am sad to say that this book will not be returning as the ENTIRE book was classed as Explicit/Banned Content and has been deleted by Wattpad themselves. Sadly I do not have a spare copy of these stories so I’ll have to start a new.
          
          From now on all stories I post will have a back up in case something like this happens again and the “Explicit Content” will be place on another site. I will put in links when those chapters come out.

Hello fellow readers and writers,
          I have some bad news today and wanted to let you all know about it. Today My One Piece One-Shot Book had just been deleted by Wattpad itself without not only my permission but also without any warning. According to the email I got this morning the deletion was due to an apparent breakage of Content Guidelines. I'm not entirely sure why all my content was completed wiped from the server as it was classed as a Fanfic and I made it available for nearly all ages with warnings to each chapter that were classed as Lemons.
          Can anyone please tell me what I might have missed coursing such a huge loss of all my hard work?

@MariaKitsune17  That's what I was having trouble understanding. I have read a large number of other stories in the same category as mine and some far worse than my own and yet they're stories are still available to read yet mine aren't?
            I've sent them an email about the situation already and wish to get them all back if possible. I'm willing to put the lemons elsewhere if they are the main issue. But, to delete my entire book is just wrong half of it were regular fanfic stories with nothing sexual in them at all.
            
            If I don't have any of my works returned to me I'm willing to start a new, the lemon parts or anything else will put onto another site and a link will be placed at the end of the story if people wish to continue reading.
            
            I only wished they had sent me a message about the ones that did break the Guidelines and I would have removed them or moved them off Wattpad.

Hello fellow readers and writers, 
          I wanted to post up a message to let you all know I'm still alive and getting back into writing. I have a few stories in mind that are a little different to what I normally write. I wanted to try something different after writing One Piece fanfics so much to give myself more space to create something else. I have a story that will be released this month. Each chapter will be published each day until the 31st of this month. The first 4 chapters of this story will be released tomorrow.
          This new story is a collection of very short stories of my volunteering experiences that I've been doing for over a year now. Again very different to what I'm used to writing. I hope you all like it and thank you all for following.
