Like so many families...We are all, suddenly, home and homeschooling. While reading with my daughters I realized how many children's books are about going out and getting together -- to libraries, school, to visit family, to museums and stores, on play dates and field trips, to the playground, to the store, to ballet lessons or soccer.

Staying home to protect one another and those we love (Hi, Grandpa and Grandma!) means that we are not doing any of those things. We are spending a lot of time at home, on our front porch, under our peach tree...Together as a very small family unit. We miss everyone and everything we used to do. And yet this is also becoming normal.

This story is to celebrate all the adventures we having and memories we are making...Staying home and washing our hands.
